Murphys

The Murphys Fire Protection District was formed in 1946 with the mission is to protect the quality of life for residents, businesses, and visitors in the communities of Murphys, Doulas Flats and Vallecito, California (see attached district map).  We accomplish this by providing the most effective, efficient and professional fire prevention, suppression and emergency medical services with a commitment to excellence.  We strive for excellence in service through sound moral principles that promote honesty, trust and loyalty.  Our duty is to be involved in the community and earn the community's support.  Our district aspires to preserve a quality environment with a sense of well being to our community utilizing technology, education and planning.
